The Wildwoods Country Music Weekend will include a Country Festival in Fox Park (adjacent to the Wildwoods Convention Center) on Saturday, October 23, from 11am to 5pm. Admission is free! The festival will feature live entertainment from great regional country music artists. Radio personalities will emcee the outdoor stage, leading fun, country-themed contests. It's presented in cooperation with the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.

The festival will also include vendors selling country attire and memorabilia, crafts, food, and more. The Holly Beach Fire Company will serve beer to adults with I.D. Area postmasters will unveil the new "Cowboys of the Silver Screen stamps," shown at left, honoring Roy Rogers, Tom Mix, William S. Hart, and Gene Autry. A vintage pickup truck show will add country flavor to the event, with prizes for outstanding vehicles.

Due South Band
Due South is one of New Jersey's premier country bands, performing hits from artists such as Brooks and Dunn, Dierks Bentley, LadyAntebellum, Sugarland, and Kenny Chesney to name just a few. It also covers music from legendary performers like Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash.

Ann Oswald Band
Ann started her professional music career 15 years ago, though she has been playing guitar and writing her own original music since grade school. She first took to the stage with a female duo, performing throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 1999 she released her first CD entitled Out Of The Blue.

Ann began traveling to Nashville and performing in such places as The Bluebird, 12th. & Porter, The Broken Spoke and Wild Horse to name a few. In 2002 she released her second CD with Stone Age Productions entitled Waiting For The Fall.

In 2004 she was taken on by Red Ridge Entertainment in Nashville, Tennessee. They produced her third CD entitled Bone Dry. Heading this project was Michael Hopkins, who won a Grammy for the work he did with Sheryl Crow and has also worked with such talent as LeAnn Rimes, Trick Pony and Rascal Flatts.

Ann continues to perform in New Jersey and surrounding states and continues to travel and perform in Nashville as well. She recently released her fourth CD, "Now I Know."
